UA Students Bring Battleship to Life

Nearly even child has once uttered the phrase, "You Sunk my battleship!" For the majority of us that is said after playing the popular Milton Bradley Company game "Battleship". However for students at the University of Arkansas the phrase has taken on an entirely new meaning.

The University of Arkansas Recreation Department has decided to put a fun twist on the traditional board game. They've created a real life version of the game. Don't worry though, these players aren't working on drills aboard naval warships. Instead, they're playing in an indoor pool.

Their game of battleship works by having the north face outlet berkeley students enter canoes inside the pool. Once inside two players throw buckets of water at other teams, while a third player defends the boat with a shield. The last team left floating wins.

Other than staying afloat, the only real challenge the students face is what to tell their parents when they ask how "studying" is going.
